My name is Charlie Usadi. I’m a PVD-based artist, writer, and person. I’m fascinated by art which engages with plants, human/nature, the built environment, land use, queer/cyborg landscapes, earthworks, etc etc etc.

I discovered arts writing in undergrad as a contributing writer with the Brown Art Review (check it out!), where I published ~15 articles. Almost all of my works stemmed from interviews conducted with curators, artists, and creatives. I fell in love with the process — research, interviewing, transcribing, editing, and crafting written works to spotlight creative thought. I’m constantly learning and growing as a writer, so this epic-awesome-cool blog is my space to nurture this passion, spotlight creatives, and deep dive into themes of interest.
